The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken conduct of an investigation after three individuals were shot inside a vehicle in Coquitlam, BC.

On November 23, 2022 at 7:45 p.m., the Coquitlam RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Dawes Hill Road and Mundy Street in Coquitlam. Upon arrival, officers located two unresponsive men inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced deceased on scene while another was transported to hospital and later succumbed to their injuries. A third victim was located suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
