North Cowichan / Duncan Indigenous Policing Services (IPS) organized a food drive in partnerships with Cowichan Valley Basket Society (Food bank), Loblaws Superstore Loss Prevention Officers, Makola Housing Society, Cowichan Valley Community Policing and Duncan House of Friendship Centre that occurred on September 19th.

Volunteers and IPS collected around 1,770lbs of food donated (with an approximated value of $6,300) and $630 in cash donations. All donations go to the Cowichan Valley Basket Society.
