Oceanside RCMP News Release

Criminality has been ruled out in the fatal February 22nd Whiskey Creek house fire.

The ongoing investigation of the fatal house fire in Whiskey Creek has determined the person located at the scene died as a result of the fire and criminality is not suspected in the death.

While the exact cause of the house fire has not been determined, criminality is not suspected and the scene has been turned over to Coombs-Hilliers Fire Department to continue the investigation into the origin and cause of the fire.
