Police responded early this morning to a single vehicle roll-over collision in North Cowichan.
On September 24, 2024 just before 5:00 a.m., North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP responded to the 5400 block of Cowichan Valley Hwy in North Cowichan for a report of a single vehicle collision.

BC Emergency Health Services and Fire department attended to help extricate the driver before transporting her to hospital to be assessed for injuries.
BC Hydro was also called to the scene of the collision due to the damage to the power pole and electrical hazards.
Drugs or alcohol are not suspected in this collision, said Corporal Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the RCMP in British Columbia. A collision analyst was also requested to assist with the investigation.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522.
