Search warrant executed in drug trafficking investigation

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, Fort St John RCMP received information from the public that led to a drug trafficking investigation.

After a three-week investigation, police executed a search warrant on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at a residence in the city.

During the search at a home on 98th Ave, police located and seized two safes, a gun locker, suspected cocaine and money and other items typically found in drug trafficking.

One person was arrested, and later released without process as the investigation continues.
