Suspects sought in overnight Qualicum Beach break-in

Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who broke into a Memorial Avenue business during the early morning hours of December 16, 2023.

At approximately 1:15 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 police were alerted to an alarm from The Source electronics store in the 700 block of Memorial Avenue in Qualicum Beach. Investigators discovered upon arrival that the front glass door had been smashed and several electronic items had been stolen.

Surveillance video from the store recorded two suspects committing the break in. One suspect wore all white clothing with a black balaclava and carried a red Hilti bag. The second suspect wore a black hooded jacket with white Carhartt lettering on the left sleeve, a grey scarf, grey sweatpants, white running shoes and green gloves.

If anyone recognizes the suspects or their clothing, they are asked to contact the Oceanside RCMP at (250) 248-6111 to speak with investigators and quote police file # 2023-13166.
