The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is looking for witnesses and information related to a residential break and enter Thursday morning.
On Feb. 15, 2024, around 11 a.m., police were called to the 2400-block of Drummond Court in Kamloops, where suspects had allegedly forced their way into a home while some of its occupants were sleeping inside. No injuries were reported.
Those in the area saw two men running away with what appeared to be firearms, before leaving the area in a black SUV,
said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. The incident is believed to be targeted. We are releasing images of the two suspects with hope that someone from the public can help police identify them.
As part of the investigation, police seized weapons, firearm ammunition, and more than 150 grams of suspected meth, cocaine, and crack, which appeared packaged for sale.
Officers located and stopped a black SUV nearby, but it was unrelated.
Suspect one is described as:
- Male
- Close cropped beard
- Dressed in black
- Approximately 30 years old
- 6’
The second suspect is described as:
- Face covered
- Male
- Longer nose
- Wearing a blue track suit with three white stripes on its arms and legs
- Approximately 30 years old
- 6'
