Update: Police appeal for witnesses and dash-cam video after 54-year-old pedestrian struck by vehicle dies

On December 17, 2022 Burnaby RCMP released information regarding a pedestrian that was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle and had life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Patterson Avenue and Central Boulevard, Burnaby.

UPDATE:

The 54–year-old victim has since died in hospital.

Speed, alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the collision and the driver of the vehicle has been cooperating with the investigation.

Burnaby RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team is investigating the incident and is appealing for witnesses or those with dash-cam footage to come forward.
