Each week more than 28,000 people access the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, a quarter of these people are children and young people.

As we approach the holiday season, these food banks are under even more pressure than usual to have items of food for those in need.

Cram the Cruiser poster with dates and times from the news release

We need your help! Join Burnaby RCMP:

Thursday, December 2nd - 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. @ Safeway, 4440 Hastings Street

&

Friday, December 3rd - 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. @ Superstore Metrotown, 4700 Kingsway

We’ll be at the main entrance of each store as well as inside, so we won’t be hard to find.

All donations will then be brought straight to our local food bank to help support people in our community over the holiday season.

The most needed items right now by the Greater Vancouver Food Bank are below:

In addition to these items, the food bank is also always looking for the following:

We will also be accepting grocery gift cards and cash donations for the food bank.

See you there! Drop by, say hi, and don’t forget to bring your donation!
