Burnaby RCMP seek witnesses of a collision that has left a cyclist in hospital with life threatening injuries

Burnaby RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team continue to investigate a collision that has left a 23-year-old cyclist in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

On Sunday, September 12, at 12:00 p.m., frontline officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist at the intersection of MacPherson Avenue and Beresford Street. The cyclist was crossing MacPherson Avenue at Beresford Street when he was struck by a vehicle driving northbound. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and continues to cooperate with the investigation.

The cyclist was transported to hospital with what is believed to be life threatening injuries.
