Kelowna RCMP on scene of motor vehicle collision

The Kelowna RCMP is investigating a motor vehicle collision in the 3500-block of Glenmore Road North.

The preliminary investigation indicates a grey Nissan Versa was travelling southbound on Glenmore Road North when it passed a water truck before losing control and crossing into the northbound lane colliding with a white Subaru Crosstrek.

The lone drivers, both adult women, have been transported to hospital with unknown injuries. There is extensive damage to both vehicles.

The Kelowna RCMP Traffic Unit is on scene and the Southeast Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (SECARS) will be assisting with the investigation. This area of Glenmore Road North is closed to local traffic only and the RCMP is asking all motorists to avoid this area of Glenmore Rd North as officers work to conduct the investigation.

If anyone was driving on Glenmore Road North and may have witnessed the grey Nissan Versa prior to the collision, or if anyone has dash-camera video, please call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
