RCMP reopening William R. Bennett Bridge

On January 27, 2025 at approximately 2:18 p.m., Kelowna RCMP had the suspect vehicle associated to an Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) deployment earlier today, towed from the William R. Bennett Bridge.
The vehicle was examined by EDU who rendered the vehicle safe for transport. The bridge has since been reopened to traffic in both directions.
This investigation remains ongoing and no further details will be provided at this time,
