UPDATE: 24-year-old pedestrian struck by vehicle on December 17 has died in hospital

On December 19, 2024, Burnaby RCMP released information regarding a pedestrian that was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle and was in the hospital in critical condition.

The incident occurred near Union Street and Sperling Avenue, Burnaby.

UPDATE:

The 24-year-old female victim has since died in hospital.

Burnaby RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team is investigating the incident and is appealing for witnesses or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
