Burnaby RCMP is proud to help carry on the legacy of Keian Blundell this holiday season, by collecting donations to support sick children in our community as part of Keian’s Holiday Wish Toy Drive.

Keian passed away in 2014 at just six-years-old after bravely battling cancer, but he made a big impact in his short life. Burnaby RCMP continues to honour Keian’s wish of sharing love and joy with children facing life-threatening illnesses by collecting donations for BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Every year this toy drive and the amazing generosity of our community spreads happiness to sick kids and their families over the holiday season, said Sgt. Kelly Basi with Burnaby RCMP’s Youth Section, which leads the initiative. We are proud to help carry on Keian’s legacy of giving and brightening the lives of others.

Burnaby RCMP will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys, as well as cash and gift cards during three events in Burnaby:

In addition, donations can also be dropped off during regular business hours until December 10, 2024 at Burnaby RCMP’s main detachment and Community Police Offices.
