Video captured by a surveillance camera shows the suspect entering the store through the main doors. He approaches the food aisles. When a clerk comes out of the back room to go into the main hall, the suspect rushes towards the cash register and threatens the clerk with a knife. The clerk opens the cash drawer and the suspect removes a number of bills. The suspect then turns back to leave the store.

The suspect was wearing their hood tied closely around their face and is not easily identifiable; however, they have a unique tattoo covering most of their right hand. We are releasing a close up photo of the suspect’s hand, as well as video surveillance showing the robbery, in the hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and speak with investigators, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
